Chilly's Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle Matte Black 500ml

The Chilly's Bottle in bestselling black, very smart indeed! Chilly's bottles are made from two layers of stainless steel, providing vacuum insulation - 12 hours hot and 24 hours cold. The screw top steel lid is airtight and leak-proof and a unique powder coating on the bottle prevents the chips and scratches experienced with most other steel bottles.

Our family 500ml Chilly Bottle is used on a daily basis; usually for water (which does stay incredibly cold, even when the bottle is left out in the sun on a hot sports field!). It also doubles as a flask, keeping my tea nice and hot whilst I sip it on the sidelines of the football pitch.

Made From:
Bottle: Stainless steel 304 food grade, both inside and out. Toxin free, non leaching, odour and taste free, recycleable and robust for continued usage.
Lid: Stainless steel, BPA-free plastic and a silicone o-ring.

About Chilly's Bottles
Chilly's Bottles was founded in 2010 by James Butterfield, who initially started the business from his bedroom. The inspiration for a drinks bottle came whilst on holiday when he purchased a plastic bottle of water to take to the beach. By the time he had settled down to drink it, the water was warm. He was struck by what a waste it was, both in terms of money and the environment.

James then spent a year designing the Chilly's Bottle, with much of the focus being on keeping the temperature of the contents constant, no matter what the outdoor temperature. As a trendy young chap, he also wanted to make sure that the bottles looked very cool, and much time was spent on creating an aspirational design.

After humble beginnings selling from Camden Market, the Chilly's Bottle is now receiving a great deal of positive press, and the company continues to go from strength to strength. This is a great 'bottle for life' and will prevent you ever having to buy and dispose of plastic bottles.

End of Life
Stainless steel is an earth based material (rather than man made) and as such is easily recyclable at the end of what should be a very long life! The small silicon seals on the handle are also recyclable.
