Once you've placed your order, you can select whether to receive your goods via 1st recorded (for next day), 1st or 2nd class Royal Mail delivery.
If choosing Royal Mail 1st Class delivery your goods should reach you within 1-3 working days of your order (Royal Mail aim for 1 day).
If choosing Royal Mail 2nd Class delivery your goods should reach you within 3 - 5 working days of your order (Royal Mail aim for 3 days).
If you think you are unlikely to be home when your parcel arrives, please provide a safe place or neighbours address. This can be written in the special instructions box when you check out.
Postage is charged according to the monetary value of your order (which is clearly marked at checkout phase).

Wrapping and Packing
We use second hand packaging wherever possible; including boxes and box fillers. We ensure they are in good condition and secure.
New envelopes and boxes (such as the Eco Gift Boxes) are all cardboard or grass paper, and as such can be recycled, composted or used for mulching your growing beds if you are a no-dig gardener.
If your order is a gift for someone, then we will gladly include a handwritten note on one of our manila tags. Just send us your message in the special instructions box or send an email to [email protected].
Your 'cooling off' period
In the event that you have a change of heart once you have made your purchase, you are entitled to a 7-day 'cooling off' period. This means that you can cancel your order from the moment you place it for up to 7 working days, without giving a reason. The Wise House will refund goods in full when order cancelled/goods returned within this timescale (you are liable to pay for return postage).
If your item is the incorrect size or not as you expected (but not faulty), then you may return the item for a refund. In this case, you are liable for return postage cost.
Return of damaged/faulty/incorrect goods
If an item is damaged or faulty or there is a mistake with your order, you will be offered a full refund or exchange. This return should be made in what is deemed to be a reasonable amount of time from receipt of the item.
You will need to notify us in writing providing your name, item description and reason for return. You must then mail the item back to us. The Wise House will reimburse the postage costs to you, the customer.

Non delivered goods
Please ensure that delivery information is 100% accurate as we cannot be held responsible for a delay in delivery of goods for this reason. As the customer, you will be required to pay for goods to be re-delivered should they be returned to us due to an incorrect address or failure to collect from your local postal depo.

We conform with the Sales of Goods Act in that we endeavour to give honest and full descriptions of all of our products, provide goods of satisfactory quality and ensure they are fit for purpose. Please be aware that due to the nature of the web, slight variations may occur.
