A festive dish cloth made from natural materials. Long lasting and compostable at end of use.
Let Santa, or as the Swedes called him, Tomte, help out with cleaning this Christmas with this beautiful, festive dishcloth. This dishcloth is made from cellulose and cotton, so that it is 100% biodegradable once it has finished a long and useful life.
I love these cloths as they are truly practical; highly absorbant and great at the jobs they are designed for. You won't feel a need to switch back to a j-cloth once you have tried these.
Extra brownie points go the fact that they are manufactured in the UK.
Washable at up to 60 degrees. Size – 20cm x 18cm
Guvnor's Tried & Tested Notes
This cloth is a brilliant all-rounder, with the cellulose (plant fibre) giving it a hint of sponginess. This makes it highly absorbant and as such fantastic for wiping down surfaces, and as a washing up cloth. I have had two of these for a year now, and they are still going strong if a little faded! They also get the husbands approval, and he is VERY fussy about the cleaning aparatus that I introduce to the household...
Disposable cloths and sponges create a huge mountain of waste, when you think how many every household get through in a year. Most are made from plastic (polyester), giving them a contrary short useful life, but long landfill life.
These cloths are an easy swap. Highly effective, cheerful, made in the UK and 100% biodegradable at end of life. You will also save loads of cash due to its washability. Jangneus is a small business, and a delight to deal with.
Why not choose?!
Jangneus was founded by Marie Jangneus-Davis in 2009, who set out to design an eco friendly, colourful yet functional dish cloth. She continues to design all of their products, inspired by her home in Dalarna, Sweden and Swedish style in general.
