Too posh for poo bags?! I love these beautiful tweed and tartan fabric bags, handmade using top quality fabric offcuts from a small family run weavers in the heart of Scotland. How wonderful to be saving this fabric from landfill, what a waste it would have been!
The fabric bags are made in a box shape with a central zip, making it easy to access poo bags, dog treats and tissues. There is a clip on the side so that you can attach to the lead or to your person, or just pop into your pocket. (I am very tempted to earmark one as a small make-up bag - for me, not the dog :-)).
Each bag is different, and as such the exact colour combo you receive will be a surprise, and unique to you. Use the dropdown menu to choose tartan or tweed. If you have any colour preferences or spot one you from the images, you can pop a note in special instructions (postage section) and I will do my best to choose the fabric best suited.
I came across Jennie and her lovely company when sourcing a Hemp Dog Collar and Lead for our Greek rescue dog, Lila. Jennie hails from my home county, Essex, and all of the dog leads, collars, bags and paw butters are handmade by Jennie onsite. Jennie inspects each product by hand once finished, hence you will find a range of beautifully made products with great attention to detail..
The tweed and tartan has been sourced from a small family run Scottish manufacturer in Scotland. Jennies uses the remnants that would have otherwise gone to landfill. These bags are lovingly handmade onsite using a heavy duty Singer sewing machine. A great deal of time, care and attention goes into each one, so you are receiving something very special.
End of Life
These bags will last a very long time, at which point the fabric can be composted or placed into clothes recycling, and the metal can be recycled.
