A sustainable medium hemp dog collar handmade and hand-dyed in the UK using eco-friendly ink. Perfect for your pooch! We use both the hemp lead and matching collar for our Greek rescue dog, Lila, and are really impressed with the quality. Hemp is a strong yet soft fabric which makes a comfortable and robust choice.
Wash with similar colours. Place into a cotton bag or pillowcase to prevent the metal banging against the edge of the washing machine drum.
Hemp has fantastic sustainability crudentials. No pesticides or herbicides are required to grow hemp crops, it requires far less water than cotton, and the growing cycle is only 12-14 weeks. Hemp absorbs four times as much CO2 as trees do, helping to clean the environment.

About Dogs Adored I came across Jennie and her small family-run company, Dogs Adored, when sourcing a Hemp Dog Collar and Lead for our Greek rescue dog, Lila. Jennie hails from my home county, Essex, and all of the dog leads, collars, bags and paw butters are handmade by Jennie onsite. Jennie inspects each product by hand once finished, hence you will find a range of beautifully made products with great attention to detail..
The hemp used is organic, and is hand dyed using an eco friendly dye. The collars and leads are then handmade on site using Jannie's trusty heavy duty Singer sewing machine.
End Of Life
Hemp is biodegradable and the metal parts are recyclable at curbside.
