Coconut Scouring Ring - Pack of 2 Large

A set of two sturdy coconut scourers, designed for the toughest cleaning jobs whilst cleverly being 'non-scratch'. These eco friendly scourers are reusable and biodegradable at the end of life, making them ideal for replacing disposable alternatives. They have become a household favourite in the Taylor abode; they have lasted for ages with little sign of wear and tear, and they work brilliantly.

Each scourer measures approximately 10cm diameter. Rinse after use and for an extra clean, pop into a bowl and pour over hot water. I have also put mine into the dish washer on occasion, for a deep clean.

The rings do lose some of the coconut dust initially, so please be forewarned upon unpacking and using for the first time. This can easily be rinsed away, and the rings will stop shedding after a few uses.

Sustainability
The coconut scourers are made ethically in Sri Lanka from coconut fibre (also known as coir). Coir is naturally antibacterial and completely safe and toxin-free.

End of Life
The scourer is biodegradable and suitable for the compost heap. It also makes great kindling. 

Guv'nor Tried & Tested
I tried these scourers along with a friend of mine. I keep one by the sink for pots, pans, oven dishes and the grill. The other is used for cleaning the bath and shower it is particularly effective on the rather attractive tide line around the bath (with a spot of natural white vinegar). My husband uses one on the barbecue and pizza oven.
