Organic Cotton String Bag Small

A lightweight organic cotton string produce bag in size small.  Your essential companion when undertaking a plastic-free shop! The mesh produce bag has a drawstring closure so that its contents are kept secure. You can fill it with fresh fruit and veggies, rolls and pastries...anything purchased 'loose' can safely be stored in these surprisingly roomy bags. A simple step to replacing single use thin plastic bags.

Made ethically in Bangladesh, using 100% unbleached organic cotton.

Wash at 30 degrees and air dry is best. Please expect some shrinkage as this is a natural material.

Our string produce bags are sourced from a small UK company, Turtle Bags. They work with fairtrade partners in Bangladesh to make a range of cotton string bags designed to reduce plastic waste.

End of Life
The bags will last for many years to come. As they are made from unbleached cotton, they are 100% biodegradable at end of life. Even better, you can place them into fabric recycling or cut into strips and use as kindling.

(A note on unbleached cotton - the pristine white colour often associated with fabric is very unnatural, and is often a result of bleaching and several other chemical processes. Hence our drawstring bags and bowl covers are an off-white/ cream colour).
