Natural Deodorant ACTIVE Orange & Bergamot 55g

Our bestselling active natural deodorant is suited to days when you are exercising and/or very busy. All of the natural deodorants are handmade with 100% natural ingredients, so no parabens, synthetic perfumes or aluminium.

The new scent smells very fresh, and the improved formula means that this deodorant is smooth and easy to apply. Available in a small and large jar (with new metal lid), so please select your size before adding to basket.

How to use
- Pop a pea-sized amount of deodorant onto the end of your finger
- Apply to the underarm, smoothing across the whole armpit area

The active deodorant has a semi solid, smooth balm-like consistency. It will melt in the heat (and go more solid when cold). If it does turn a bit too 'loose' give it a shake or stir it, and place in the fridge. Best stored in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.

Right for you?
The active deodorant contains sodium bicarbonate, a natural deodoriser. Some people can experience skin irritation in the form of itchiness due to variations in the bodies PH levels. I would recommend that you use the active alongside the gentle deodorant (no sodium bicarbonate so best for sensitive skin) or clean deodorant (a small amount of sodium bicarbonate and suits most people), using one of the latter for everyday use and saving the active for particularly busy, demanding days. This will help to prevent irriation. It's a good idea to do a spot check first.

Guvnor's Note: I am a convert to this hugely important deodorant. It works superbly well and it is a relief to be wearing something natural under my arms. End of Life
The deodorant is packaged in a glass container with a metal lid, both of which are widely recyclable (keep the lid on the jar when placing into recycling).

'When I first shopped on the Wise House website I was looking for Christmas presents and found lots of lovely gifts for my friends; but the purchase I was most eager to receive was the Active Deodorant Balm.  I had made a conscious decision to stop using chemical deodorant a year or so ago but was finding hard to find one that worked as an antiperspirant. I lost a very close friend recently to breast cancer and wanted to find a product that my teenage daughter could use that didn't leave her (or me) with 'sweaty pits'. I've held off reviewing the balms until we'd put then to the test as, although its really good value it's still more expensive that a regular roll on (but not more expensive than Neal's Yard spray or Weleda natural deodorant). Anyhow it's brilliant, I bought the large jar for £11 in both the Active and Clean balms and have been using it since the beginning of December and I'd say I've got a couple of weeks left in that pot. I've been using the Active and my daughter the Clean. We both love them; I've even gifted little pots of it!

I love the aroma of the orange and bergamot; you only need to use a pea size amount of the balm under each arm and it works a treat. It's a really effective natural deodorant/antiperspirant I feel confident come the hot weather I will not be suffering from 'hippy sweat patches'.'(Clare)
