Delivery and Postage
Once you have made your order, you can select whether to receive your goods via either Royal Mail 1st Class Delivery or Royal Mail 2nd Class/ myHermes Courier. We are offering free delivery on all orders over £10 at the moment when choosing the latter option.
If choosing Royal Mail 1st Class Delivery your goods should reach you within 1-3 working days of your order.
If choosing Royal Mail 2nd Class/ myHermes Courier your goods should reach you within 3- 5 working days of your order.
If you are worried about being home when your parcel arrives you could always give a neighbour's address or specify in the special instructions a safe place that the parcel can be left in.
Where possible for outing packaging we use recycled or recyclable boxes and envelopes. We package all of our orders with the utmost care and finish off with brown paper and string.
Postage is charged according to the monetary value of your order (which will be clearly marked at checkout phase). Charges are as follows:

Payment by Post
If you choose to pay by post then please make cheques payable to The Wise House and send to 90 Holly Bush Lane, Hampton, London TW12 2RB.

Your 'cooling off' period
In the unlikely event that you have a change of heart once you have made your purchase, you are entitled to a 7-day 'cooling off' period. This means that you can cancel your order from the moment you place it, up to 7 working days from when you receive your goods. At The Wise House we will happily return or exchange your goods within this timescale, provided they are in their original condition i.e. unopened, unused and unsullied.
You will need to notify us in writing providing your order number, item description and reason for return. You must then mail the item back to us using First Class Recorded Delivery. As the customer, you do have to pay the postage in this situation.
Return of damaged/faulty goods
If an item is damaged or faulty, you will be offered a full refund or exchange.
You will need to notify us in writing providing your order number, item description and reason for return. You must then mail the item back to us using First Class Recorded Delivery. The Wise House will reimburse the postage costs to you, the customer.

Non delivered goods
Please ensure that delivery information is 100% accurate as we cannot be held responsible for a delay in delivery of goods for this reason. As the customer, you will be required to pay for goods to be re-delivered should they be returned to us due to an incorrect address.
Sales of Goods Act
We conform with the Sales of Goods Act in that we endeavour to give honest and full descriptions of all of our products, provide goods of satisfactory quality and ensure they are fit for purpose. Please be aware that due to the nature of the web, slight variations may occur.
